Bio

Ashlie Benton is a San Francisco Bay Area-based artist known for her her rich, handsome compositions that employ a wide range of materials: acrylic, oil, graphite, gold leaf, graphite, colored pencil, fabric. Benton received her B.F.A. from California College of the Arts in San Francisco and continued her studies in Advanced Painting at the University of California, Berkeley. Benton has been featured throughout the country in numerous exhibitions including the Masur Museum of Art, The Triton Museum of Art, the De Saisset Museum and The Whatcom.
